History of Kingsway K9

In 1988 when I was in high school, I started walking dogs for neighbours for the fun of it. That eventually lead to living in owner’s homes while they were away, and caring for their home and pets. As my reputation grew, so did my client base. I could no longer offer a live in service, and so my business Home Buddies was born and I boarded dogs in my home. The need to expand lead me to open up Home Buddies in a warehouse on Munster Avenue with full services of dog daycare, boarding and grooming.

I continued with my dog walking during this time. After 12 very successful years, I sold Home Buddies, and have now come full circle back to walking dogs, kitty visits, and home visits. I am so grateful to my many clients who have entrusted me with their precious furry family members, some of whom are now the ‘2nd generation’ of family pets.
